I went in for an ultrasound last week, and they said that I had been pregnant for twins, but lost one They could see the sack that the other one was in, and blood pooled around my cervix, but I have not even had spotting. The remaining baby is healthy and strong though. I had a recheck today, and heartrate was strong at 164.
kdlmon- Our kids are 11, 9.5, 7 (8 in August), 6.5, 4.5, and just-turned 2. 3 boys, 3 girls, in that order
On the birth boards I post on, there are a few women there who are 6 months pregnant now with a healthy baby who experienced 'vanishing twin' early on. It really is a sad thing. I'm happy the other one is strong.
