I know that she misses me and will go back to my closet and sleep on my shoes. She really does love my kids and they know how much that little girl means to me so they'd never let anything happen to her. She sleeps in our bed with us every night so usually one of the kids will sleep with her in my bed at night. I never thought I could be this attached to a dog but I am. They always tell me that she's fine, but I know in my heart that everytime she hears a door she probably thinks it's me. That always gets to me. At least you have 2 to keep each other company and snuggle up to the other one. Roxie is the only and I sometimes thinks she needs a sister or a brother. Then I find reasons to talk myself out of it lol! The fun part of it all is when you get home and all is fine and they are sooooooooo happy to see you.
I also understand the kids being on the lazy side when Mom's around. Right now I need a break from them all.
