Eating plants must be a puppy thing...Momo used to eat plants in the house & we had to move everything up. You probably know already, but some plants are poisonous to dogs, so becareful. |
I have several fruit trees in the backyard and she loves green pears and peaches. She tackles them when they fall to the ground. I always take them away from her when I can. I started a raised-bed veggie garden and she has stayed away from it so far. SHE EATS ALL ThE LEAVES THAT BLOW INTO OUR YARD, but has not gotten too sick so far. And I thought dogs were carnivores! LOL! She loves to chew on twigs; better than chair legs I suppose. I will steam some of the peas I have in the garden for her to see how she likes them. Thanks for your tips. I do have some grapes that are fenced off from her at the moment. Oh, and I do know about garlic and onions and chocolate (is chocolate a vegetable?). Woof!
