No way!!! And no refund? I'm sure you have CKC/AKC papers on him if they told you he was a pure bred. Possibly a bill of sale too. I would be furious. I understand that you still love your baby just as much as you did when he was a yorkie. I would be mad someone lied to me and then refused me a refund. Go in there and threaten to press charges and I bet they change their tune. Get the refund and then take him on a shopping spree.
