I'm on the same boat, Duke and I live in an apt with no backyard or any fenced in area. I take Duke out for a walk once a day when I get home from work for about 45min or so, I also play catch with him after we eat dinner for about 45min-1hr also.
I do wish that I can take him out more but I'm hoping that the playing catch makes up for it.
I do take Duke to the little dog park when I can but bc we live in the metro NY area, I have to take him on the train with me and it's a trip...
