Lexi is 99% potty trained, she knows better but occationally lets one slip. She gets sooooo embarrassed too. She's been potty trained to go outside since she was 6 months old.

For us, it was consistancy. If she went inside, I'd raise and deepen voice to scold her. I'd then pick her up, give her a light spank on the butt (nothing that would hurt her) and put her outside.

During working hours, I would kennel her. I'd either come home for lunch or my roommate would let her out for a mid-day pee. We slowly increased the amount of time she was in the kennel.

Also if she barked by the door I would praise and let her outside. This backfired when she realized she could go outside whenever she wanted. She was constantly barking to go in and out - in and out. Eventually she got sick of that game and now only barks by the door if she needs to go.
