I just had a really great session with such a nutritionist who suggested that for optimal health everyone should be using a whole food supplement, a probiotic, digestive enzymes prior to all meals and a quality cold pressed fish oil along with a healthy diet rich in whole grains, 5-7 servings of vegetables, 3-5 fruits with minimal lean protein from meat/fish sources and avoiding "white foods" such as sugar, flour and white rice. |
Oh my gosh, you sound exactly like my sister in law...she says the exact same thing...she has the schooling and can work as a dietician as well as a medical doctor...she says the same thing...if I remember correctly she said medical doctor's take like 1 class in nutrition, she says it's a joke and it shouldn't be that way...she got upset at my nephews doctor not addressing my nephew's weight and brushing it off as if it were no big deal. He should have sent him to a specialist...I understand what your saying completely
