Thanks. Yeah, I've been in numerous debates with my daughter's doc and he won't even give the okay for vitamins. He says you'd have to be without a certain vitamin for 3 months or so for you to be deficient in it...my sister in law who is a doc says it doesn't hurt to take them....I've read that if the body doesn't absorb them you get rid of them (ex: bright yellow urine= vitamins in toilet)...I work for a specialty produce and specialty foods company who presses buying local so that it's fresher and it doesn't take as long to get to the table...farmers markets are the way to go as well....I just try to eat healthy and fresh but with kids/puppies you kind of have to bake the cookies...good for the spirit and not the body...lol! I guess moderation is always best being that nothing and no one is perfect
