Good luck with getting a new baby. I hope everything works out. I can imagine what the lady is going through, with a ill husband and having to move, probably to be near him or other family.
About a month ago, a friend of mine knew of a woman who had a 5 year old chihuahua. Such a sweet little 4lb baby. She had to rehome her immediately, as her husband who she is trying to take care of as he has alzheimers and in his confusion, he thought sophia was a rat. A rat that he had to kill. So to save her she had to get rid of her immediately. We found her a new home within 6 hours, and let me tell you. She is the sweetest little thing. Still very skiddish, but is overcoming that.
If it was meant to be it will work out wonderfully for you and your friend. Who knows you both may bring home new fur butts. GOOD LUCK!!!!
