How about a "doggie daycare" person? Someone that also goes to school that could come and spend a few hours here and there, while you are studying or going to class? (If you could afford to pay them a little, I am sure many students would love some "going out for coffee $$). That would give you a break AND give another college student their "Yorkie fix".
