Just read all the advice on YT here... it'll take forever to get through all the potty posts and sort all the replies, but it's worth it. And know that that even though it's not easy, it is DEFINITELY possible.

I got Nikko when he was 3 months old, and by the time he was 5 months old he had stopped having accidents altogether (even though we still watched him like a hawk till he was 6mo old, cause you can't trust them totally until they've gone minimum 30 days without an accident). He's somewhere around about 10 months old now, and when he's at home he ONLY pees outside, no accidents, ever. We're also very good about letting him out fairly frequently. We crate trained, and drove ourselves literally insane watching him constantly in the beginning.

It only took two months for us to potty train Nikko completely, and he actually was super sick and not really in control of his BMs for the first month. But believe you me, those two monts felt like two years. Like I said though, if you have the research done and the dedication and ability to be somewhat consistent, there's no reason potty training won't work for you two. Just be patient, and try to keep from pulling all your hair out or going grey before you get there.

Lauren & Nikko

PS: Did it! You will too.
