I talked to Patti a little while ago. She says she is not going to leave Jack's side. I don't know how much longer she can hold up with little to none sleep. She doesn't yet know about the chest x-ray, but will find out in the morning. They are giving him meds to hopefully slow down the bleeding in the brain. She is having a time with him tonight because he is so restless and she has to try to keep him from pulling out IV's and also, his one arm is supposed to stay in a sling and not be moved so the pacemaker doesn't get disturbed. She was going to go and ask for help when we hung up.
He is still having memory loss and doesn't know what things are...or uses the wrong word when he says something. He sometimes thinks Patti is his sister. I pray there is better news in the morning. Patti asked me to thank you all for your prayers. Poor Patti...she sounds so beat. |
