I would NOT feed Nutro to even a rat! There's WAY too many coincidences of dogs getting sick and dying on Nutro food. If shopping at Petsmart, I think the only food I would use is Blue Buffalo. If shopping at Petco, they have a few more options, such as Wellness and Solid Gold. Solid Gold Just a Wee Bit is good and is also good for all life stages. Your best bet is to find a small petfood specialty boutique which carries some of the better brands like Innova, Nature's Variety, Acana, Solid Gold, and many others. Also if you have a Tractor Supply or a feed store, they usually carry some of the good brands.
