I went to the Vet earlier tonight for another issue, and also asked about this eating problem too. She told me that when it is warm out, they don't eat as much. She also told me that if a dog is in heat, they can smell them 5-8 miles away. That can also distract them from eating. I'm feeling better and not worrying. Between treats & his food, he's eating when we play ball.
