When I worked there which was up until Feb 2009, I never got certified because I never planned to work there for a long time (I am going to go to Pharmacy school). But after I left (At least here in FL) from what I heard all of the technicians will need to be certified before they can continue to work in the pharmacy. I dont know much about the cost of the class, but I have friends that bought the books and studied on their own and got certified.
Pay wise im not sure what it is in Cali, but in Florida I was making $11 an hour and I was part time not certified.

I dont know if this is true (I dont think it is) but I heard that if u are certified, your pay is like $75/hr!!!! I must've heard wrong LOL!!!!
Do u know if the test was hard or not?
