 they can be evil..
my dog chewed up my carpet!! there are three places where there are holes on the floor.. and he likes corners of furniture too. i don't know exactly when (around a year old) but he stopped. maybe it was the constant scolding, maybe it was his age, but i think it's mainly the exercise. make sure your dog is actually burning up his energy. a tired and lazy dog won't chew as much. good luck!
