I use the tall x-pens and I put sheets on the side to give the mommas more privacy. None of my mammas are jumpers so I don't worry about them going over the tall x-pens. The most stressful time is when the second litter comes. The first momma will hear those puppies crying and sometimes they will really get upset at first and they want to get to the other puppies. You just have to be extremely careful not to let the two mommas get to each others puppies. If your mommas know each other and got along before they had pups then they will probably adjust just fine. |
