My baby is 10 weeks old today and she weighs 3 1/2 lbs!! I think that is big her daddy supposeable weighed 4 lbs and mommy 7lbs. If ya go by what everyone says about trippleing weight at 8 weeks then Hayley will be about 9 lbs. I wondered same thing how she get that big when her parents wasnt.The vet told me he did nt think she would be over 7 lbs because some of these puppies have growth spurts and then the weight gain slows down. I dunno we have to just wait and see. Regardless her size I love her anyways and I have been told that sometimes the bigger yorkies doesnt have the health issues and some of the smaller ones. THis is my first Yorkie so I really dont know what to expect but what I do know is I love her and dont care how big she is!!!
Has anyone here had a puppy to be about this size and still end up rather small as adult like 7 lbs or under?
