 Suggest talking to your vet...
It is important to have your dog on some type of preventative. It helps to protect them from more than flees and ticks, and it helps so that they dont come into your house- that is a huge hassle! Talk with your vet, our two are only on Frontline for about 6-8 months once it freezes here in Michigan I stop it and then when it starts getting warm. Good luck talk to your vet he will help you to find out the best preventative for your pooch!
