Our particular issue is that we have one puppy of each gender.
We have the mom and our friend has the dad. My friend really wants the little girl puppy.
I prefer female dogs, but I look at the personality of the dog, and how well it gets along with our other dogs as more important than gender.
My friend says she needs the girl b/c the boy puppy won't get along with their male yorkie (the puppies' dad).
So, I was wondering how well the dad Yorkie (soon to be neutered) would typically get along with his son/daughter.
We'll soon know how our Yorkie (mom) gets along with the babies when they're older (they're only 9 days old now).
I realize it depends on the particular dog, but was wondering about the typical situation. |
