what you do not know they do to a dog can do great damage to the dog long term.

First...

YorkieMother!
Second...this pretty much sums up my reaction

to the use of a choke chain on a Yorkie...are they nuts? BIG red flag...run!
Third...when my children were younger, we had Airedales (King of Terriers) and I did send them to a Dog Trainer who came highly recommended by my Vet and had fantastic credentials to back up her education & training expertise.
However...what she accomplished with both of my Airedales was like p!ssing in the wind "after" our two

lil darlin's came home. You see, the ones who needed "equal" training...were US!
The two week "Inhouse Dog Training" did include a two hour (human) training session for myself & my children on Maggie & Mollie's going home day. But, that just could not compare and a LOT of what was learned that evening...was soon was forgotten!
In the end...our two big girls did retain their basic commands (Thank God!) but at such an expense that hind sight tells me now that I was perfectly competent in learning & teaching those simple commands for about $1,000 less!
Another one of life's lessons learned...
