Thank you! This is so helpful. I might even be travelling THIS WEEK! I travel for business, so I have leeway on pet-friendly hotels, and often I have friends who can take Thor at my destination. I never take him, because I don't have time to get a vet letter. Boarding is SO expensive here, it's almost a wash to pay the airline fee! Whoopee!


By the way, I have heard of getting a dog registered for "emotional needs", which I understand is kind of like a service dog, but not completely. I'm not sure if this applies in every state.
