Seriously...I would be ever so careful about volunteering to go and pick up this Momma...unless your planning on bringing some big dudes with you for protection.
These kind of things can also be set-ups for a violent crime of you arriving and then instead of receiving what you came for...they mug you & take your $$$.
I realize you would only be going there to pick up this Momma as a rescue...but, you don't know what kind of people are out there and wouldn't think twice about taking your car, too!
Personally, my life is more valuable to my family than it is to YTNR whom I foster for and I would never think of putting myself into that kind of an "obvious" scam situation!

I am sure that I can find a reputable breeder that would be willing to help out a rescue with a 3 lb yorkie. It is just not safe for someone without any experinece to be taking in a dog like this and trying to do with alone. I think that everyone else needs to back off of calling and emailing this person and lets just let the OPer handle the dialogue and go from there. If this person has no interest then she will have no choice except to cave.
Yorkie_mamma22~~Your heart seems to be in the right place but IMO I really do not think it would be a very good idea for you to take thing little girl into your home. You work, have no experience with this type of thing, have young children etc. |
