wow, that sounds just like Layla. She's the same age too, going on 8 months. I've taken her to the dog park, which honestly scared me, she loves to run and jump at all the dog's faces. Luckily they have been well behaved dogs but they usually get annoyed and ignore her after a few minutes. She jumps up too, so it's embarrassing for me when little kids want to pet her and she's trying to jump all over them. At that state she won't listen so I guess I have to start being tough with her and not let people touch her. Did the same thing at the vets too, she eventually calmed down after about 20 minutes but still would get all hyper if a new dog walked in. I don't think this is safe behavior so I'm trying to work at it too. Any tips would be great. |
