I'm not sure there is a food without copper. I feed Nature's Logic, which does have some copper in it but the unique thing about Nature's Logic is that all the vitamins and minerals are from natural sources. Most foods use proteinated minerals, which are not organic. That could be why they affect your dog's liver so much. If you'd like to read about Nature's Logic, here's the link...
