Isla's cottony coat made her look like a little mop when it was all grown out. When she ran or barked she reminded me of the stereotypical little cartoon dog that would bounce and the hair would flair out. Funny! But when summer came this year she instantly started to get snarls and knots and I had to give her a puppy cut in order to get them out. I really do like them long--cute!--but it sure is easier with less bathing with it short. It's all with how much you can keep up with the brushing if you want it long, and even then it's still tough! |
