Piper does the same thing. She is very affectionate loves to be held yet when you go over to pick her up she scoots away around the table, under the bed etc. When I go get a treat and say sit, she sits, I give her the treat and she lets me pick her up. I can't figure it out why she does this and it's very annoying. She is 14 months and I'm hoping it's a stage she's going through.
