I read here on another post that the bags of baby carrots, are soaked in chlorine and some other chemical, not to give them to your pups, thats why when in the frig after a few days the outer skin turns white, from the chlorine , probably best to buy the big ones and peel and dice for the pups, or organtic. They also said on dog whisper the guy feeds his dog bananas. Another treat that is healthy i read is open a can of pumpkin put teaspoons on a tray , freeze them and then put the frozen pumpin treats in baggies in your freezer and whenever you want to treat them or would be great for teething . My pups love apples, and i buy liver and cook it and cut it up in cubes and freeze it in baggies, for liver treats. Pinnapple is another fruit i hear puppies love. My pups pretty much love any human food, not so crazy about there dog food RC. |
