the coats on yorkies are so fine and cottony even if they appear thick. the flea comb has very little separation between the teeth of the comb which will pull and bunch up, I think those combs are made for coats for smoother coat breeds,
try using a barber comb the separation of teeth R alittle wider and still will be affective just a suggestion!
