Lol, no not at all, so many people have tried AMD, and love them! I really need to try hers! I just never recommend something I haven't tried, and we buy the bullysticks by the case, so we won't be needing any for a couple of years.
I haven't found the odor problem with the Merricks, we live in AZ and maybe because the air is so dry, they dry out even more.
