It could be that she is licking the poop right away before you can even see it however, if you don't see something soon I think it would be best to take them to the vet and ask them to just show you how and check them out.

The mom's not licking them, b/c of how she has hurt their tails. So she is watched at all times with them. Actually, she never really licked them that much anyway - just the tails.

I put a band-aid on the little boy's tail to cover it up, so she could lick the other parts, and she licked his leg and walked away.

Unless my vet friend e-mails me back, I'll be taking them both to the vet.
