Nikki, my 12 year old female Yorkie was diagnosed with pancreatitis 10 days ago. She went through the IV thereapy and is now home on medication (anti-biotics, anti-emetics, pain and anti-inflamatory). She refuses to eat so we have to force feed her food and water with syringes. Her weight was always steady at 6 lbs. - she now weighs 4.1. Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas? The vet doesn't understand why she refuses to eat.
