First off please do not bash me, because I am being honest.. I am sorry for whomever had a bad experience with this kennel, but I am a firm believer in SEEING for myself. Because of YorkieTalk I almost did NOT purchase the 2 most adorable poodles. Here's is my story , if you want to contact me personally PLEASE feel free to do so.. First off I would like to Thank Starmye and Robert Halpain for allowing us to come out and pick up our pups. Now here are the facts...
When I decided to purchase a toy poodle, I looked locally of course first. But as I expected, it was nothing more than BYB's and Puppymills. People literally wanted me to meet them in a grocery store parking lot!!
So, I start looking on the Internet, and yes, I know about all the puppy scams, read up on how people steal photos and sell you something other than what you have looked at.
I stumbled upon
www.ultimatepuppies.com and absoluely feel head over heels in love what the puppies I saw. I was amazed at how beautiful and well "kept" the puppies appeared to be. I knew I wanted a puppy from here , because nothing else I had looked at even was comparable. So, I chatted with Starmye on the phone, back and forth about the pups and the breed. She was extremely nice, and imformative on any questions I had. The night before I went to send my money, I decided to show my aunt the website at her house. I googled ultimatepuppies, and was shocked. I saw several accusations about people who said what seemed to be extreme complaints. I had to admit, after reading these, I thought hmmm? I emailed Starmye, and discussed every single accusation I came across, and she explained on every single one! I decided a woman like this, whom I could tell was very HONEST and forthcoming, I needed to meet. I asked her could my husband and I srive from Texas to Oklahoma, to pick up our babies, and check out the kennel, for my peace of mind. She agreed. Of course you know, there are people out there scamming constantly. When we arrive to Oklahoma, I was shocked! NOTHING that had been stated or ACCUSATIONS that were made were true. NOT ONE! I was amazed, at how clean, how loving all her babies were! The pups and adults were VERY WELL cared for! I was so amazed at how each and every baby was so well groomed!! The Halpains were so nice as to even give us a tour, which they did not "have" to do. We knew after seeing the kennels, and all her pups and adults we would not only take the TWO pups , we WOULD be returning customers!! So, if anyone, who googles and reads these NASTY comments, and supposed ACCUSATIONS about ULTIMATE PUPPIES and STARMYE HALPAIN, try to remember this...
"What you don't see with your eyes, don't witness with your mouth." That's it in a NUTSHELL.. This is a hard working family, with an amazing love for their animals and the families their animals got to.. If anyone need to ask us about this kennel feel free to contact me, at
