My Female is very loving and sweet to everybody. She loves to sit on my lap all the time, and gives kissess to whoever lets her. She is very people friendly, and love children.
The reason why I chose a female is that I did not want to deal with the leg lifting issues males do. Male Yorkies are notorious leg lifters.
PLease keep in mind that it is also important to socialize your Yorkie. Female yorkies are not rude, and should not be kept isolated when guets come over. I find that offensive, and untrue. However, that is one person's opinion , about how she treats her female Yorkies, that is sad and misleading to others who come and see her website. That breeder may want to keep her females for the sole purpose of breeding. One never knows the true reason behind such a bold statement. It is all a matter of how you train your Yorkie, and handle your dog. |
I agree with everything you said!

I have a female who is very cuddly and she is not moody. She is always ready for some cuddles. My Male is more independent. So I dont agree that all males are one way and females another. I think it is just the personality of the dog
