I agree. I have two boys and four girls. Only one of the girls is what I would call a cuddler. My little Ceeby (male) is the sweetest little guy ever. hands down!!! Now, my other male is hyper as a jack rabbit but he is a sweetie. My girls can be hateful. They seem to be more terrritorial than the boys.
And the other part of your question. I didn't choose a boy per se'. I went to the breeder near me and one boy is all she had left. Like so many people on here, I wanted him that day so I took him home and got a girl several months later.
