I literally did a google search when she ate it, just because I was curious, and yorkietalk.com came up with some threads which talked about the dangers of xylitol. That's what prompted me to call the vet. In a sense, this website might have saved Lola! So thank you, thank you, thank you everyone for being such a great resource to me and to each other. Hope your little girl recovers fast, and I'm so glad you acted fast. I think this is one of the most unknown dangers, we really need to spread the word. I hope you will share your story with others, and especially new mommies. My prayers are with you and Lola!
