I have a Yorkie that can't bark!!
He will be a year old next month. My vet has heard the whisper that comes out when he tries, and she said she has never heard of this before!
Heads up.... When I took him in to have 8 of his teeth pulled, they had to put him under and the vet told me they had to get all the emergency equipment ready and on stand-by because he really struggled to come out of the anethesia!!!!
He is happy, healthy, energenic and perfect in every other way!!!!
Like you, I enjoy the quiet as my Sheltie is the yapper in our house!
