My girl slept through the night probably starting around 7 months. Before then at around 5.5 months, she was able to hold it in for 10-11 hours when she went with my husband to work while I was out of town. He had a pad out and took regular breaks to take her outside 5-10 minutes at a time, and longer during lunch, however, she still refused to go. She'd hold it until she got home and ran straight to the pad. This was the case for 9 days straight.

However, once I got back from my trip, the nights I didn't wake up in time to her pacing for needing to go, she'd just go on the rug in the bedroom. We only lay out one pad in the house for her to go to the one place.
Fast forward, she's over a year old now and she has been sleeping through the nights without needing to go in spite of having free access to a bowl full of water in the bedroom which she has been drinking almost all of during the warmer evenings. She also stocks up on dry kibbles 1-2 hours before bedtime most days. She gets to eat whenever she wants. We do make sure to take her to the pad just before settling in for the night and first thing in the morning.
