I can't see paying $400 for another Blackberry, but he really does use the internet on it and I would like him to have a better phone. Take your battery out, and sim card....put phone and battery and sim into dry rice for about 3-4 days.....make sure to open phone backside under battery........so as for rice to touch the entire phone...this should dry the phone and it will work.....I have read it several places and it does work....in fact last week my son's friend was pushed into pool......and I told him what to do.....and he did it for a week.....and guess what, the phone works!!!
