Thanks for asking....Livi had her babies this morning. The pusking started at about 6:45 and instantly saw that she was pushing blackish green fluid. We called the vet clinic and they were waiting when my husband got there. It was a placental abruption, but believe it ir not, he made it...he was actually born on the way to the vet. They were just going to montior Livi and let her proceed with labor there. Her vet did an ultrasound and did not like their heartbeats...they were slow. He thought that it would only get worse with waiting in Livi to deliver so a c-section was what he decided to do. They delivered 2 more puppies and there was a 4th but it was under developed so it did not make it. I spent the day watching and the babies and helping them to latch on (they were tiny...two babies were 2oz. and one was 2 and a half). I started supplimenting along with helping them to latch on. Sadly, we lost our little Phoebe earlier this evening. Her lungs were not developed and he felt that these babies were early and after seeing them, I agree. It has been a very exhausting day and I still have a long ways to go to make sure that they other two make it. Tate, our carrier boy, is up from 2.5 to 2.8 and Strawberry (5 year old daughter named her)

is up from 2oz. to 2.1 and nursing as I type (I had to help her latch on, but hey it's a start). It's not much, but I will take the extra ounces...I won't give up, I will keep trying to help these babies.
I am attaching picture of them...Livi's face is sticky because she has been enjoying her Whelping Pudding.
