Well, today someone brought their Yorkie in. Poor thing... she was super matted.. worse than the one I worked on yesterday. The owner said that she went out of town (supposedly) and left her Yorkie girl with her family that had outside dogs... no way in hell a dog can get that matted for a short period of time... I know for sure that was several months of neglect. The thing that piss me off is that she brought her Yorkie in a plastic IKEA bag!!
She said she showered and didn't want to get dirty. WTH???? I don't care how dirty my dogs are, I would still hold them, not bring them in a plastic bag. She could have atleast wrapped a blanket around her or something if she didn't want to get dirty. She even had her in the plastic bag on the ride there.... My instructor is a major animal lover.. she was furious and was like "Is that a dog???", "why is it in a bag???". I think the owner got offended.. If I were her, I would be ashamed of myself. Some people should not have pets.
