This has happened to Stedman before. My hubby (I cannot do it as I will totally freak out, thinking that I am causing him pain) put him in the sink in WARM (not hot) water and used a mild soap and gently worked it back into the skin. Be very gentle though. If it has been out for 24 hours I can imagine that he is in a good amount of pain. Please help him ASAP, and if YOU can't...please get him to the vet right away
