Your two will be fine. I brought a 10 week old yorkie weighing 13 oz. into a home where there had been only one 16 lb. yorkie for eight years.
The older one, "Harley" was way ticked off. He growled, snarled, barked, and left the roomwhen the "Scooter" got near him. Harley, big as he is, was afraid of this little bundle of fur darting around. Have you ever seen a 16 lb Yorkie trying to hide in someone's lap? Trust me, it ain't pretty, or comfortable!LOL Anyway, it took about 2 weeks for Harley to accept that Scooter was here to stay. They are the best of buddies now, even with Scooter still being small(5lbs). Now that everything is good between them, we got "Rita" (about 6 weeks ago.) Harley & Scooter took one look at her, looked at each other and in doggy talk said " Oh, sh__, here we go again"!
