 New member with new (rescue) yorkie
Hello-this is my first post to yorkie talk. I brought home my new yorkie rescue Lexie less than two weeks ago. She was a kennel dog for at least one of her three plus years and even has a ridge scar on her nose where she looked out of the bars on the breeder's cage! She is very sweet and very shy and sad right now.She is starting to wag her tail sometimes and is joyous whenever I return from an outing she couldn't go on. She has had several homes-at least two of them with breeders who couldn't get her to breed, as she was too "skittish". I am absolutely thrilled to have her in my home--she loves to be patted and belly rubbed!
I enjoy the posts on this website and have even found answers to problems that I didn't understand with my last late yorkie (who lived a long mostly healthy 15 years!) When I figure out how to do it I will post a picture--two attempts so far have failed!) Lexie's mom, Knooker |
