I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh, but I just picture myself trying to do that.
With my pup, when she squats to pee, she does it for all she's worth. I used to pick her up when I was potty training her to make her stop going, but she would just keep on with the flow. I'd freak out and run around the house, not knowing where to go and by the time she was done, the carpet would have this nice little pee line wherever I ran.
Have you tried just picking your pup up and aiming her pee at a cup? Or does she stop going when you pick her up? Is my dog just weird or something?
