You have gotten some great advice -- I just want to reassure you this is pretty normal behavior for a 3 month old Yorkie. Just be consistent and firm. I try to use a loud sharp voice when my little Rocky bites me. He stops and looks at me, then starts licking. That lets me know he did not want to hurt. So,it is easier for me to remain calm and not get mad about the behavior. It can get trying though. Glad you know not to hit, that would make everything worse and cause emotional problems as well as being physically dangerous for a fragile puppy.

Just try to keep the puppy occupied with lots of playing with toys, take him for walks (if he has all his shots now), and lots of love and affection. Always offer a substitute when he bites. Plenty of good teething toys are a must. Cold baby carrots are a great teething relief for puppies too. Mine has also discovered the joy of ice cubes as already suggested.

Patience and consistency are the keys!
