I think it is important that a breeder know something about the people and environment a puppy will be going to. But, I was hesitant to ask people to fill out the questionnaire I had prepared. So, I sort of filled it out myself through conversation. I did ask some specific questions, but I filled in the form myself. Most of the answers I already knew from just "talking" both on the phone and in person. Keep in mind though, I only sold two puppies to someone I did not already know, so I am not very experienced. That is probably why I was reluctant to just hand them a form and say "fill it out." But neither of them seemed at all offended as I filled in the form.

Myself, I would not be offended if someone asked me to fill out a questionnaire. But I understand because of the love I have had for a litter of puppies. Maybe everyone does not get that. And if they can't "get it" maybe they don't really need a Yorkie.
