This is a very sad sick story. so all might not want to read it, I guess I just need to vent
I had a friend over that I had not seen for years. She was telling me a story that made me sick.
She said her neighbors have a few dogs they let just run the roads some have been killed out on the busy highway, yet they just keep getting more. well she said a lady was visiting these people and spent the night with them and had her little female dog with her, she would take her out to potty on a leash. well while she was sleeping someone opened the door and the dog had got out. it was pouring down raining when the lady got up that morning and she looked and could not find her dog. she went out in the rain looking and found her poor dog laying in the ditch of the road, she had been hit by a car and was limp concussion and what looked to be two front broken legs. she carried the dog in and laid her on a towel on the floor while she went and called the ER vet and waiting for a ride to the vet. when she came back into the room one of the male dogs had tied with this poor baby while she was unconscious. the dog come out of it was trying to pull her self away with her broken legs but was stuck to this other dog. I know it really wasn't the owners fault but there was other people there who all should of not let this happen. I felt sick after I was told about this, well the female just had 5 healthy pups and she was vetted and her legs are now okay, she has a limp that she will have forever. but I feel so sorry for this poor baby.
