 thyroid tumor
Please help, with any advise/experience with this! My 9 Year Old Yorkie, Ellie, was just diagnosed with a thyroid tumor...in her chest. Her blood levels kept going up, but when ultrasounded, her thyroid showed no tumors. I just got back from a specialist that found the tumor---in her chest, with some thyroid tissue....he is aspirating it on Wednesday, then suggests radiation. The radiation seems so complicated and dangerous, but without it, she will die. He recomends a dr. in NY....Mark Peterson. They would keep Ellie for 5 days ....Has anyone been through this?
Please....I am so scared and devastated.
