He just might have a growth spurt and hit more than the 5lbs. You never know. As they grow they tend to eat more. Usually when you feed a high quality food I find that they don't eat a ton of food. Mine each eat probably a half a cup of food a day and they are healthy and crazy. Toby at 14 months weighs 4.5 lbs and Zoey at 21 months weighs 3.5lbs.
